The Example in the
middle is a Layout Area set around a pixel point on the screen. If you scroll this window down, you´ll see that "Freeze" text and graphic stay right where it appeared originally (or, if you´re on a Netscape browser, it´ll "hop" back to it´s original position while you´re scrolling - sorry gang, Netscape doesn´t handle this as fluidly as IE does). Watch as it scrolls over a text area like the bottom of the screen. As a Bonus for reading this far you can Click on the Heart, and drag it anywhere on the active page. First - Just scroll the page and watch the Heart roll over the Text. Then Click and move the Heart, The Animation will stop. Also if you see no Heart in the center of the screen your browser should be UpGraded to the Current Java Version. Have fun!
